ORLANDO, Fla. (April 24, 2013) ? Tijuana Flats will be hosting its inaugural Tijuana Flats – Just in Queso Super You! 5K at the historic Showalter Field on Saturday, May 4, 2013.
The event will benefit Special Olympics Florida, Tijuana Flats? 501c3 charity, the Just in Queso Foundation, and OUTFOXCANCER.

DETAILS: Participants are encouraged to wear their version of a super hero costume during the event, showcasing their personality and imagination in the process.
In an effort to further extend the super hero theme, four community heroes will be acknowledged at the race, each representing one of the Just in Queso Foundation?s key areas.
?Specifically, the charity was created to support four key areas, the military, community outreach and social services, education and child development, and disease research and treatments,? said Dede Franklin, president of the Just in Queso Foundation.
The Just in Queso Foundation provides aid to individuals, communities and organizations in need, with support funds waiting ?just in case? a tragedy strikes.
?We are always looking for ways to expand our role as a charitable contributor to the community,? said Brian Wheeler, Tijuana Flats chief executive officer. ?The Just in Queso Foundation is a great way to funnel all the proceeds from our efforts and give them directly back to those who need help the most.?
Special Olympics Florida provides year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people with intellectual disabilities.
Founded by Andy Fox, a 12-year Cancer survivor, OUTFOXCANCER provides education and encouragement for men and women to receive yearly cancer screenings.
The Tijuana Flats – Just in Queso Super You! 5K will not only bring awareness to the charitable organizations involved, but will unite the community as well. And if dressing up wasn?t enough fun on its own, prizes will be awarded for best costume, top five males, top five females, top fundraiser and biggest team.
