–Tex-Mex Restaurant?s Non Profit Charity Raises Money for Breast Cancer Research Foundation–
ORLANDO, Fla. (September 19, 2013) ? For the seventh year in a row, Tijuana Flats and its 501c3 charity, the Just in Queso Foundation, which provides aid to individuals, communities and organizations in need, is adding fire to the fight, by raising money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
Just in Queso?s newest charity hot sauce has redesigned its look for the month of October to portray a boxing match, where Just in Queso takes on its opponent, breast cancer.
Three dollars from every sale of the limited edition hot sauce, the Sauce that Saves, will be donated to BCRF. Retailing at five dollars a bottle, the sauce will be available for purchase from Monday, September 30 to Sunday, October 31 at all Tijuana Flats? 97 locations nationwide as well as online at www.tijuanaflats.com and through BCRF?s Shop Pink online store.
?This year?s initiative is particularly exciting because we?re adding a new pink twist to our menu,? said Dede Franklin, president of the Just in Queso Foundation. ?Having raised more than $250,000 to date for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, we are confident that we can top last year?s donation as guests are asked to ?Make it Pink.?
For a one dollar donation, guests can choose to have a pink tortilla for their hard or soft taco entr?e. One hundred percent of the donations through the ?Make it Pink? option will benefit BCRF. And all guests, even those who choose not to ?Make it Pink,? will get a combination of the seasoned chips and pink, ?ribbon-shaped? chips (if their entr?e comes with chips, or are ordered separately).
Not only is Tijuana Flats adding a twist to its signature tacos, addicting chips and specialty sauce, but also through its quirky and vibrant colored ceiling tiles. Throughout the month of October, survivors of breast cancer will be asked to sign their names on a custom designed ceiling tile, which will be permanently displayed at each location.
Anyone who donates, in any way, during this charity-driven month will receive a sticker to wear that shows their support in the fight against breast cancer.

About The Breast Cancer Research Foundation? (BCRF)
BCRF was founded in 1993 by Evelyn H. Lauder as an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to funding innovative clinical and translational research. Since its inception, the Foundation has raised more than $270 million to support research at medical institutions across the globe conducting the most advanced and promising breast cancer research that will help lead to prevention and a cure in our lifetime. To date, nearly $28 million has been directed to stellar scientists at New England medical institutions, and in October 2009, $3.5 million was awarded to 24 distinguished researchers from prominent institutions in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. Today, Boston and the New England area have the second largest concentration of BCRF grantees. BCRF perseveres in directing at least 85 cents of every dollar raised directly to research. And for the eighth consecutive year, BCRF received Charity Navigator’s highest rating, four stars, thus outperforming over 99.8% of the more than 5,400 evaluated charities, while the American Institute of Philanthropy has awarded BCRF its highest possible rating of A+. BCRF is the only breast cancer organization in the U.S. to receive these accolades. For more information, visit www.bcrfcure.org or call 1.866.FIND.A.CURE.
