JACKSONVILLE BEACH RUN RAISES $6K FOR TIJUANA FLATS’ CHARITY
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (October 4, 2012) — Tijuana Flats, famous for its fresh Tex-Mex food and unique ambiance, should also be known for its dedication to giving back to the community it serves.
Earlier this summer, Tijuana Flats sponsored the 48th annual Summer Beach Run and approximately 1,300 Jacksonville residents came together to raise more than $6,200 for the restaurant’s charity — the Just In Queso Foundation.
“It’s a pleasure for us to be part of an event which not only delivers a fun day for hundreds of runners, but also raises money for charity,” said Tijuana Flats Owner and CEO, Brian Wheeler. “The Just In Queso Foundation uses generous donations like this one to help individuals, communities and organizations in need.
