Tijuana Flats Opens in Lake Nona; First Central Florida Opening for 2009

ORLANDO, Fla. On Monday, March 23, hunger will once again meet its match as Tijuana Flats, famous for its fresh Tex-Mex food and its unique ambiance, opens its latest restaurant location in Orlandoʼs Lake Nona community at 9161 Narcoossee Road.
The Tijuana Flats Lake Nona location is the company's first opening in the Central Florida region this year. The next scheduled location, Ocala, is a new demographic territory for the company.
This new location will feature Tijuana Flats' made-to-order menu, a 14-pump hot sauce bar and all the lively atmosphere patrons have come to expect from the Tex-Mex powerhouse. The 2,000-square-foot restaurant will accommodate seating for more than 100 visitors, with indoor
and outdoor patio seating.
Anyone who has experienced a Tijuana Flats knows about its brightly colored wall murals. The mural at the latest location is no exception. Using vibrant colors, it incorporates an out of this world Sci-Fi theme, featuring a one-of-a-kind mural, custom designed by Tijuana Flats' graffiti artist Justin Peterson. Patrons will definitely stop and take notice of this extraordinary scene that gives Tijuana Flats its flare and uniqueness.
"Central Florida has truly embraced and welcomed Tijuana Flats throughout the years," said Tijuana Flats owner, Brian Wheeler. "Without the ongoing support and patronage of our hometown, Tijuana Flats would not have become what it is today. We are excited to continue to expand in the market."
To commemorate the opening, Tijuana Flats is entering every guest who comes in during opening week for a chance to win one of four $250 gift cards. In addition, additional Tijuana Flats prizes will be awarded. Winners will be announced during the restaurant's "Rock Out With Your Guac Out!" party on March 27 at 7:30 p.m. and must be present to win. There is no
purchase necessary to enter.

-Tuesday, March 24 - Trio for Trios - Groups of three or more receive one Tijuana Flats Trio (chips, salsa, queso and guacamole) per table, with the purchase of an entree.

-Thursday, March 26 - Local Hero Day - All police, fire, EMT and city officials receive 50 percent off with valid ID.
-Friday, March 27 - Rock Out With Your Guac Out Party! - featuring live music, $2 Coronas, and the announcement of the $250 gift card winners.
