–Tijuana Flats Announces Opening of Second Sarasota Location–
ORLANDO, Fl – Famous for its fresh Tex-Mex food andunique ambiance, Tijuana Flats fire off the opening of its second Sarasota location at 3404 Clark Road with weeklong food and drink specials.
The newest addition, which opens on Monday, October 26, joins its sister restaurant on South Tamiami Trail. Currently, the Orlando-based, fast-casual, Tex-Mex restaurant has 69 locations throughout the country. The Clark Road location, the restaurant’s 70th location, will be especially welcoming to local fans who wanted a Tijuana Flats near the southern part of the city.
“Our fans wanted us closer, and we listened,” said Tijuana Flats Joint Venture Partner, Steve Martin. “We love ʻspicing up’ Floridaʼs West Coast with our great, laid-back atmosphere and high quality food.”
The Clark Road location will feature Tijuana Flats’ made-to-order menu, its signature 14-pump hot sauce bar and all the lively atmosphere patrons have come to expect from the Tex-Mex powerhouse. The 1,800-square-foot restaurant will accommodate indoor seating for 64 guests
and outdoor seating for more than 35 guests. Known for its brightly colored murals,
Tijuana Flats continues this tradition at its newest location. With three new characters created by the company’s muralist, Sarasota customers will be pulled into into this larger-than-life montage.

To commemorate the opening, Tijuana Flats has planned weeklong specials that include $1.50 Coronas from Monday, October 26 to Friday, October 30. Guests will also have a chance to win a variety of Tijuana Flats gift cards during opening week. A total of $500 in gift cards will be given out. There is no purchase necessary to win.
